It wasn't surprising that things were getting stressful. Even in a normal winter things could get hard, and this was anything but normal. What was surprising, and had the little stoat's tail frizzing in alarm was what Cricket told him happened. Little paws rested on his chin as Loki hauled himself up to stand, worry clear in every line of his little fuzzy body.
