Cricket makes a soft little moaning sound and nuzzles into his shoulder. "Ain't promising that'll hold forever," he says, voice muffled by Loki's clothing, "but so far, so good."

He's got a pretty mild temper, when it comes down to it. He rarely snapped at Jack. Loki will be a lot more of a challenge, long-term, but he's pretty sure he's up to it.

"I mean it, though," he smiles and gives in to the urge to kiss the side of Loki's throat. "Reckon I'm bein' sappy, but I can't stop feeling how I'm feeling."
