The food reminds him a little of church potlucks, instantly putting him at ease with the setting, if he hadn't been already. It's also quite a bit healthier than his usual takeout, minus the fried chicken of course. "All of that sounds pretty good," he says honestly. Truth be told, now that he's familiarizing himself with the layout, he probably wouldn't have much trouble putting together a plate for himself. But Matt's pride easily allows him to let others help, so he doesn't hesitate to take his friend up on the offer, though he'll serve up his own fruits and veggies. "I could do with a little bit of everything. Have you eaten yet?" Wouldn't do to chow down when the birthday boy hasn't had any dinner yet, in his opinion.
